Murray river gourmet salt

Murray River Gourmet Salt is the only company utilising underground saline water to produce inland salt. Internationally recogonsied for the quality of their products they have also been awarded the 2004 Engineers Australia National Salinity Award for their demonstrated efforts towards salinity reduction.

By utilising the mineralised brines from the Murray Darling Basin aquifers, Murray River Salt prevents 150-200 tonnes per day of saline water from entering the Murray River which is a precious life source for many food producers in South East Australia.
